Get Connected

There are three easy ways to connect to AQS:

  1. Connect over the Internet. A Graphical User Interface (AQS:GUI) communicates with the AQS market via HTTPS. The AQS:GUI provides access to all AQS market functionality.
  2. Connect directly through the AQS Application Program Interface (AQS:API). AQS provides the option to connect directly via API. The AQS:API uses TCP/IP XML messaging as the communications protocol. AQS provides a Java API client library for ease of use. All Members using the AQS:API must connect via a secure network connection. The AQS:API provides the full functionality for transacting in the AQS market.
  3. Connect through an existing service provider.  As a utility operator, AQS is committed to an open door partnership policy with industry vendors and participants. Connectivity through those providers may offer AQS Members an easier method of adoption.
